This is one of our most popular courses with International Schools. Usually this program lasts 2 or 3 days and involves groups of students (up to 50) learning how to sail yachts in the safe waters of Phuket and environs.
We design each course individually for schools but the common elements are Learning to sail in the morning, sailing en masse (a cruising rally) in the afternoon, to a beautiful unspoilt tropical island. We arrive around 5pm and set up camp ashore just off the beach. The students pitch tents and we organize debriefings, BBQ or buffet meals ashore and evening activities in concert with the teachers and islanders.
The three day programme introduces students to yacht sailing in the splendid cruising grounds of Phang Nga Bay and is a valuable firtst experience of adventure sailing in a controlled and safe setting with a professional training organization. Sail in Asia is the premier one stop training school in SE Asia. IYT training is globally recognized and considered to be the most modern and effective teaching system in the world. A Learn to Sail certificate is presented to the participants, at course completion.
