Learn to Sail Week/Weekend Adventure Holiday

This adventure holiday option is available to groups of students from international schools and includes:

• Transfer to and from the airport
• Local daily transport provided
• Accommodation - camping
  (hotel accommodation optional)
• Three meals per day
• Adventure activities

This is a fun course teaching the basics of sailing. No previous experience is required. The course is 95% practical. After two days learning to sail with Sail in Asia students will be confident at helming and trimming sails and guiding a small yacht in almost every direction. Trainees will be amazed at how much fun sailing is and generally can't wait to sign on for a further two or three days to become IYT International Crew.

This activity suits groups of 10 to 50 persons, learning to sail in the morning, sailing en masse in the afternoon to a beautiful unspoilt tropical island. We arrive around 5pm and set up camp ashore just off the beach. The students pitch tents and we organize debriefings, BBQ or buffet meals ashore and evening activities in concert with the teachers and islanders.

An International Yacht Training (IYT) Learn to Sail Certificate and Book are available on completion of the course (1000 THB each).

This five day programme introduces students to yacht sailing in the splendid cruising grounds of Phang Nga Bay and is a valuable first experience of adventure sailing in a controlled and safe setting with a professional training organization. Students will gain an International Yacht Training International Crew Certificate and Book at course completion. IYT training is globally recognized and considered to be the most modern and effective teaching system in the world.
